i need to replace a tps sensor for my 89 honda civic hb si, its a d16a6 motor, and the tps sensor is riveted onto the throttle body? would it be possible to just take a flat head screw driver and pop the rivets out and just replace the sensor, and im not to sure where to get just a tps sensor... without buying a whole throttle body.

they are not rivets - they are actually screws - if you take a small dremel and cut a slot in the head for a screwdriver, you can screw them right out - why do you need to replace it?

um my ecu threw out a code (3) and a code (5), which is a map sensor fault, but im having trouble with the car while driving, it studders and boggs down in higher rpm's, im just going threw all the mechanical sensors and replacing them, the car does also idle high while just sitting there, it will move on its own... hah, so im just trying out everything i can, dont really know what to do else..
