I have a 91' hatch. The only place I could find the moldings were from my local honda dealer, Yenko Honda. They were going for $60/side, so $120 for new moldings didn't seem like that bad of a price.

60 a complete side? This should be three molds a side on the HB.

haha well, the crack pipe is quite a bit extra! But yes, per side. The moldings for the fender, along the door, and into the quarter!

i took off the fender moldings and i think it looks alot cleaner, and the the fender liner can still be held up without the molding.

i think there are 2 or 3 types of belt molding but not a thin one, jdm ], usdm 88-89 ], and usdm 90-91 ). I painted my new moldings (to match the car) and it looks good, and the paint has held up well.
