My ride is SOOOO Firm.....wtf
EDIT: Update: read below
My car is really really Firm like REALLY firm. IT kinda sucks
I have this for a setup Tokico Illumina's with H&R sports.
Wasnt that bad before the illuminas but now its bad.... I havent drivin it in a while could it be the shocks arent worn in?
I havent heard of illuminas beeing a stiff shock, maybe they are and i was missinformed?
Please help.
Also I have my car in the garage for the winter, I have a set of H&R Races i want to put on, will they settle with the car sitting for 3-4 months? Or do they have to be driven on before they will settle

You're complaining about an uncomfortable ride right now, and yet you want to swap Sport springs for Race springs?

Doesnt matter what setting there on... Still the same ride quality.

Im not really complaining, just asking if the Illuminas should be this stiff. From everyone else i talked to they said they offered a great ride, even with race springs

when I say great ride i mean..."stiff as a ****, rides like a train on tracks through corners and dont put open drinks in the cup holders" <---- lol
i dont understand why your tk's would rider any harder than my set, my friends set or anybody elses set UNLESS you somehow got your hands on a revalved set?!? thats all i can offer.

also it seems my agx's ride extremely harsh for a while (really cold here in NY) does it start to ride a lil softer after like 30mins to an hour?

If they aren't trimmed you're probably ridding on them or hitting them, which would cause a jarring ride. They should be cut in half. It will increase suspension travel by about an inch, and EF needs all the travel it can get.

Then put some stock ones in, and dont forget to cut them in half.

I'm running my illuminas at 5 from 4 rear and I like the way it rides. Kinda bumpy but I like to be able to feel the road a little.

Re: My ride is SOOOO Firm.....wtf (HatchBox)
UPDATE:
Ok well before with the sports if i pushed down on the fender, the suspension didnt give at all.
But i just swaped out the fronts for the h&R Race, and i pushed down on the fender and the suspension now gives...WTFFF
The H&r Race say "H&R D/S.....51807.88F"
while the H&R sports say "H&R 8/99.... 51807.88F"
Anyone know what the numbers mean?
