Default My D15B 3 Stage Vtec needs a 3 Stage VTEC ECU#37820-P2J-003.

I'm still LOOKING for a 3 Stage VTEC ECU#37820-P2J-003.

This will be going into my 91 CRX SI----3 Stage VTEC D15B install.....

Check out this info on 3 Stage VTEC's...http://asia.vtec.net/spfeature/vtecimpl/vtec1.html

This ECU is for a 3-stage VTEC D15B engine WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION used on the 1996+ EK-series JDM Civic/Civic Ferio VTi/Vi Honda Models.

I might just have my D15B installed with a P28 for now any good SoCal installer recomendations?

Thanks
Craig

Mr. Speaker.....

As Gas keeps going up and up, back over $3.00 a gallon, this D15B 3 Stage
VTEC engine with the correct 3 stage VTEC will give me almost a 20% increase
in my stock CRX engine, be 100cc less in size, and get me OVER 50 miles to
the gallon when I'm crusing around under 3,000 RPM.....

I do not like supporting the RULING Saudi Family that affords to
transport even the Royal Horses in a Boeing Jet adorned with GOLD fixtures...........

Just a chip with those maps in a p28 won't work. VTEC (and I'm guessing the 2nd stage for that motor/ecu) requires transistors to engage it, and a P28 only has one to engage normal VTEC. And if you think about using the auto ecu w/lockup transistors, you need to modify the rom somehow to activate at 3000rpm.

The cheapest thing I can think of is to use an rpm-activated switch, then tune a p28's fuel-low maps to that motor. Either that or Neptune with it's rpm-activiated output(s). That would actually make a very nice street motor with a D16 block and that head. The swirl it makes with the one valve mostly closed helps burn the fuel, making more power down low.

This guy knows what he's talking about, , good motor choice.
