Default loose intake

i just intalled a new intake. its kinda loose at the intake manifold. is that okay?

it's definitely not ok. you need another clamp on the cold ait side.

It's fine, you're DPFI, the -1 hp you would have lost with that in the first place will probably be about 0 difference on the 70 hp engine.

Don't bother with an intake with DPFI, just clamp the filter at the end of the round box (where you have the clamp) you'll thank me later

Nothing. No matter how much air you think you are getting into the intake, the DPFI system is extremely inefficient at making power. It's designed for gas mileage, not performance.

What was wrong with the stock air box?

You probably lost HP putting that ebay junk on.

lost hp with that ebay junk? its not really junk only thing that i would replace on those is just the filter there all basically the same thing only the brand is whats gonna cost u just my thoughts

Its all depending on who you get your stuff from. Just find a MPFI car and take all the parts from it. If you are close and wanna pick them off mine Ill sell them to you for cheap...

Either way I understand you trying to help your car out with a CAI, but doing a MPFI swap is usually pretty cheap and helps your car out MAJORLY!!! You will actually think you have a fast car...

you don't need to swap the motor. only the intake manifold and related parts.
