Knocking in front end????
Ok just got my car pretty much done (everything, suspension/paint/brakes/rust removal, etc.).
Problem: When i go aroud turns at high rates of speed there is a knocking sound from the front end that happens repeatedly as if something rotating is banging with each turn. I've heard that axels "click" when going bad but this is more of a knocking that can be heard and felt. Happens when turning in either direction and like i said it only happens when going fast around a tight corner.
Problem 2: When decelerating from ~55-45mph my brakes shudder but only at those speeds. Before and after when breaking they are fine. I guess that rules out rotor warpage so what else is left to check? Feels like it's coming from drivers side.
Help highly appreciated
Vince

Problem 2: I was searching around a while ago about alignment problems, and i remember reading that braking might be a bit wobbly if your alignment is off.
It was somewhere in this link:

cool thanks, i did just get my car aligned at just tires but even after i got it back it still feels a little weird. I think i'm going to go to firestone and get the lifetime warranty.
Still doesn't solve problem 1!

well a clicking noise everytime you turn...for example if your pass. axle is bad then everytime you turn left you will here the noise....or a easy way to check is to turn you wheel all the way to one side and check the boots.

boots are in pretty much perfect condition...it's not a clicking and it's not under normal turning. It's a loud repetative knocking under heavy cornering.

Which problem? The banging around turns? or the vibration at a certain RPM?
Thanks,
Vince

Caman!
Would a CV joint do this? No?
When i search all i get is that people say a wheel bearing "whines" or "whirr's" when they make turns...
Mine is a repetative "thump-thump-thump-thump-thump" when i make a hard left turn, now i realize that it happens when i hit a bump in the road so anytime load is applied to my right tire.
Please and Thank You's!

Cool, i checked my boots and they look in new condition...how do you check if an axel is bad?
