Default i put ef civic seats in the crx today :\

i had my friend's si seats in my car but the loser wanted them back, dam indian giver. i didnt want to put my old crusty seats back in and i had these laying around in my dad's broke down hatch so decided to try and swap 'em in...

these seats didn't fit worth a **** at first. i used the inside rail from the crx seat and kept the regular outside rails from the civic. i had to drill a hole in the back of the civic seats to screw in the crx rail, the front screw bolted with no problem. as for the civic rail, no screws line up at all . i'll have to either custom fab the rails or just drill new holes. right now it's rolling with the inside rail bolted down only. yea yea i know very safe.

also i broke the recliner on the seat, neither seats recline now. i some how fucked up the cable. how the hell do i fix that?

Seat Pan Swap, man. Get your CRX rails and pan on the Civic seat and you are golden. It will retain the full funtionality of the seats and it will be a direct bolt on, as it will use your OEM rails and the OEM mounting points. Search the archives, there are a few threads on it.
