So, im okey, i still dont know if the car is okey. We smoked the curb pretty badly, hit some black ice. I hit the driver side window with my head. Im just afraid that the frame is damaged.

its so hard to tell man...good luck, will a wheel shop be able to tell? they may have some crazy alignment tool...just a thought

look at your top control arm(guess that's what it's called) is that tweaked too? and i don't really know, heard that all honda's, that bottom rear sheet metal is pretty weak. wouldn't be surprised if it was a little tweaked.

i remember this happening to my car the wheel got pushed back and everything just get the frame fix then the other parts replaced which was cross member and radius rod for me

i am contemplating the same thing too. I noticed my car had some negative camber when i adjusted my camber doing it with washers and new bolts. I have an extra washer on the left wheel and my right tire still sits straighter than the left. I had just noticed that my left side has had some previous fame damage (did a hell of a job repairing it) because there are some cracks in the bondo inside my trunk and since it has been raining water has been seeping in thru it and into my trunk area right behind my tail light. And another thing was that a piece of the bushing on my skunk2 rear lca came off, so I do suspect something wrong with the frame. But I can say the same to you as the same goes for me, you won't know until you get the frame checked out at a shop. I plan on doing that before I do my swap... Hope nothing is wrong with your 4door. I would try replacing the suspension parts first. There is a good chance that you have bent the control arms, trailing arms, etc. All of this stuff can be purchased quite cheaply at a junkyard. Also, you might want to replace your rims, as they are VERY likely damaged as well. After you replace this stuff, try to have the car aligned. This will tell you whether you have frame damage. However, I would not try to get it aligned before replacing the suspension stuff.

I hit a curb in my CRX last year and it had the same symptoms. I took it to a wheel shop and it turned out to be a bent control arm. That may not be whats wrong with yours though. Just my .02 Good luck with it.

well, im thinking to get it to the shop, just so they can tell me how bad is the damage, if its just the susp parts, then ill replace them and try to get it alighned. I wouldnt try to get it aligned how it sits right now obviously.

I just want to know if anyone thiks that the frame mightbe bent, because if it is thats a shitty deal for me.

im guessing you need a new trailing arm, lower control arm, and upper control arm. i think your compensator arm is ok, your pic showing the position as "shifted" is actually kinda normal.

and you probably bent the wheel too.

If those are your original drums, I'd say it's time for a rear disk swap . Just go junkyard diving for the parts you need then get an alignment afterwards .

check for any spots on the unibody that are kinked in or bowed out. any anywhere dirt fell off or paint cracked off. that will show u if there is a bend

well thats what im thinking as well.

I want to get DA rear brakes, but i got some questions for that. I did some research in that subject, but i just want to clarify some things.

1. Did all DA's had the same brakes? SO i can go get trailing arms for 4/2 door, any trim level? 91-93?

2. Doest it woth doing the rear disc swap while keeping the stock front DX brakes?

3. If do the swap all around i would use DA parts:

a) Da trailing arms
b) DA soft brake lines and e-brake cables
c) DA front knuckles, calipers
d) DA M/C with the boster
e) 40/40 prop valve

Evrything will bolt up and my front camber should be a little more aggressive, right? Brake lines will line up with no problem as well.
Toe in should be fine, and caster shouldn't be affected at all.

Anything else?

i checked all around there, looks pretty straight, no pealing off paint or anything, like cracs, etc...

i think the whole trailing arm

yeah you should do the rotor swap on it

since you might need to replace that trailing arm if somethings wrong with it

just remove the entire trailing in the rear and pop it in

you could keep the front rotors from your car

i suggest getting a new master cylinder instead of getting a used one

i dont think theyre that much and i dont believe you have to change your booster

i didnt change mine and my brakes seem fine to me

just hope you dont have to replace those damn trailing arm bushing....theyre worse than the control arm ones

i think im gonna find out if the frame is bent first, if not, then replace the bent components with same dx **** and then start getting some parts for the brake set up.

Wow, if you're going to be a *****, don't even bother posting.

Misha, from first glance it just looks like the suspension took most of the hit. Take it to a frame shop and get an estimate of the damage. I also agree with your idea to just replace all the stock components first, then collect the parts for the swap over time since it's your DD.

And damn, man, get a truck for winter. I've driven a dumped hatch in the snow before and it's not very fun.

if you check the FSM on page 438 it gives you service specs on the frame you can do a couple measurements and see for your self if its bent. Also you might want to look at the king pin to see if its bent fairly simple to do just remove the 32mm nut and have a peek. good luck!!

thanks for the suggestion. I was gonna remove the 32 mm and have a look but its way to cold right now to do anything really. Its -50 with wind.

for FSM, would there be a copy online?
