Hush Performance Hydro Conversion - Who is running one????
Im looking to get some reviews on the Hush performance hydro conversion.
Hush Performance ? Home
Im going to be running a hydro B series trans and from everything i read on here all the mechanical (hasport/innovative) cable actuator conversion are terrible and leave you with inconsistent clutch engagement due to cable stretching.
On the other hand i have heard a few people say the Hush performance conversion isn't good because its still using the crx clutch pedal which has a ratio for a cable trans and will still have poor non hydraulic stiff pedal feel.
So is or has anyone been running one of these conversions? Please post up your experiences!!!

I have 1 been using it for 4 years now first on my f20b swap now on my K swap. Its the best kit you can buy, pedal feel for me is great. Had the sonem bracket previously and it did flex the Hush kit does not.

I have a stage 3 clutch so its not as effortless as a stock hydro system but its far better than a cable which is the point of the hydro conversion to ditch the cable and all the cable related problems.
Is the Hush Kit more reliable than the cable Yes
Does it have the same feel as an OEM hydro system No
Does it feel and perform better than the cable Yes

No doubt! The best you ever do is convert it to hydro! And I did my research and without hesitation went with hush performance. I have had to deal with the pedals about 4 times, including swapping with DA which still bent. I did some small welding on reinforced brackets that finally fixed the flex but then the bushings on the pivot for the pedal itself were worn- so I made metal bushings, eventually gave up... Did last longer but still.
I tested the hush bracket- I could still use the reinforced bracket system but there is absolutely no need. I am currently done with my installation. If you like to see pics. While I swapped the transmission I had room to drill a hole in the firewall, the kit has everything you need and it seems like the lines were carefully chosen for this because I needed nothing else!
This may be an old thread but more will visit later-
After all the hassle I've been thru with my pedals:
I can vote for the hush bracket!

Re: Hush Performance Hydro Conversion - Who is running one????
I just installed mine and fitment and quality is great. Comes with everything needed for installation. I opted to make my own lines and fittings since im **** about what goes in my car. I haven't dropped my motor in yet, so I can't comment on how it performs, but others have, and nothing but good reviews about the kit. Anyways, here are some pics:
line from master
line to bulkhead in firewall
dash removal is not required, although HIGHLY recommended. It is a tight fit.
Everything lines up perfectly, no modifications required.
Reservoir installed
Hit me up if you have any questions, good luck.

I have it on my car, although I haven't raced it yet I did get to drive it a few miles and it felt great! although it's a bit/moderately stiffer than an oem setup I would rather deal with this rather than cable issues.

Re: Hush Performance Hydro Conversion - Who is running one????
Overall it is a great system and it was done pretty well. But I have had problems with mine so far. When the clutch pedal is fully pressed down I have no clutch(car will not go into gear) and I can't seem to get anymore adjustment out of the rod to help me out. I have yet to look deeply into it, but it's kind of annoying. I have no free play in the pedal, as soon as I press it the clutch engages. Seems as if the rod is just too long from the wildwood. But other than that it seems to be a great upgrade.
