Default How to tell the difference from 88-89 and 90-91 crx gauge clusters?

88-89 are smaller and more square, and the 90-91 are larger, round, and stick out more.

I belive the font is differnt also.

Also I believe the 88-89 have a 6750 redline for the SI, and the 90-91 don't have the enlarged 55mph. That's if I recall, I know the size is different.

I believe your right, the 88-89 have smaller font, than the 90-91.

My 91 has the 55 big. I think the older ones have a dashed redline and the newer ones have a solid one. That could just be the Si and dx though.
