Default How to install fuel Pump in 91 EF

OKay, so i need to install a fuel pump into my car, is this easy or a moderate difficulty? IDK if my friend was joking but he said All i have to do it take out the back seats and it's direct access to the fuel area is that right?
I'm installing a GSR Fuel pump for my B16A.

You don't need a GSR fuel pump for your B16. Hell, I ran a stock D15 fuel pump for my H22! A/F's were fine, fuel pressure was great.

like he said, i would get your money back, you don't need the gsr pump. that is unless you simply have a gsr pump handy, and your stock one died, then by all means put er in there. yes you can replace the pump in your civic by simply removing the rear seats.

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. You have to drop the tank to change it, not remove the back seat. The "SEARCH" feature on this sight will confirm this for the op. If i were installing a new pump i would get a walbro 190 or 255 depending on future plans (boost etc.) to keep from having to drop the tank again in the event that performance upgrades are made.

lmao, holy crap that was a hell of a brain fart. i was thinking of the sending unit for the gas gauge. yes you absolutely have to drop the tank in order to replace the fuel pump. sorry op for misleading ya.
