I was about to buy a set aswell.. I thought the (bent) one would hook up to the frame where the stock tow hooks are (on either side of the frame in engine bay)

or to the tow hook itself like Tyler100 said

hope this helps, someone please correct me if i'm wrong

the rear is just bolted to the stock hook.

the front does not need to be cut on the bumper. just drill to holes to match the holes on the front hook. use the spacers (2 circle thing) to clear the metal flap on the bumper support (which i cut cause i didnt know better at the time) and bolt it down.

DO NOT CUT

the spacers lifts the hook over that flap

what would you do if you have a jdm front end and dont have the stock usdm bumper support. the us one is way beefier where as the jdm is just like a bracket to hold the bumper on the car and not meant as a reinforcement.

the right side would be the JDM way to do it.
