Default Help with Tach Install

I bought a 5 inch Autometer Phantom tach. Do I need to cut the looped blue, brown or both wires in the back? Thanks.

that blue wires goes right to your cluster even if you dont have a rpm gauge, all wire harnesses are the same just that the clusters with no rpm dont have a pin for the blue wire. its easier to use it at the cluster then it is running a wire all the way to the distributor, and cleaner.

Yes I am aware of the instructions. Now, is an EF 2 pulse or 1 pulse? I have two looped wires in the back. Blue and brown. WHICH ONE DO I SNIP? BLUE, BROWN, OR BOTH?
