HELP A/C condensor fuse keeps blowing
Went to O'Reilly Auto Parts and found the a/c condensor fuse under the hood was blown. Replaced fuse and then a/c compressor clutch kicked in and I added a can of R12. It blew fuse again and we replaced 15amp fuse with a 20....went down the road and the 20 amp blew. Anyone had troubled with condensor fuses blowing??????? It's hot here and I need help with this

Re: HELP A/C condensor fuse keeps blowing
My condenser fan shroud was bent somehow and the fan blade was touching the radiator.
it couldn't spin so it damaged the fan motor
I bent the shroud back out so the fan would spin freely and started the A/C back up ..
the fan would spin .. but blow fuses like MaD !
I think you have a bad fan motor.
I bought one on ebay for $30 including shipping and it looks exactly like the OEM fan motor , complete with the Green OEM style fan plug ..
quick way to test it .. un-plug your condenser fan , run the A/C , and if the fuse doesn't blow .. it's your fan motor ..
