How low is your car? mine does the same thing the only difference is that it touches all the time I can't drive it cause it has to stay on a jack till my CTR pulley comes in. When that comes in it should fix the problem but it still looks like I'll have to grind a notch in the arm for it to clear the bolt that goes through the oil pump housing... The easiest way is to raise up your car, that will fix it for sure..

make sure your mounts are installed correctly. also make sure that the rear mount to the trans has both bolts in it. if you check all that and it still rubs, go for the CTR underdrive pulley. i had the same problem, but with jdmshit mounts. good tuning, and keep it low.

sounds just like a mount problem, or just a weak chassis. After years upon years of abuse the integrity of the lunchmeat thin front end will develop slop. I went through a fair amounts of ef and about half of them, (in high torque situations) had belt and pulley rubs. check the mounts and if that isnt it, might as well get the CTR pulley

aftermarket crank pulley is a bad idea theres no damper so all the stress of on and off the throtle goes to ur main bearings, i just took my stock pully and cut one of the 3 steps of it
i think its the ac step i cut mine off and no more rubing

find a used b16a crank pulley or something similar

i seen a similar prob. 1990 hatch, 2000 LS, place mounts. dood changed his crank pulley to a different stock one.

IMO dont use the underdrive it dont have any damping
but that is just me

i had a similar problem with my b16a + fluidampr race pulley

ended up shortening/otherwise modifying a 91(?) accord radius rod to match the EF dimensions and used that to clear the pulley. the accord arm has a curve in it for specifically this purpose.

The ctr n1 pulley is a factory honda part it shouldn't cause any stress on bearings should it??

I dunno if I would just bolt any old crank pully on there. If its not balanced right you could have some serious issues @ high RPMs..... I would look into notching the radius rod and I ground out a lil bit of my oil pan and now my Jimfab doesnt rub any more. The motor used to run all the time tho and it was super annoying...
