im kinda of confuse now, cuz i spoke to a japanese importer and he said that only sir ef8 come with glasstop.
does that make my ef8 an si if it comes with a sunroof?

because US safety specs do not allow glass tops. sunroofs and moonroofs are the closest we get. if you have a factory sunroof then you have an si. i highly doubt it was an option for us here, back in japan yes

Not ALL SiR's have the glass roof. It was optional. If the VIN tells you it's an EF8, that makes it an SiR.

And no, buying a sticker from passwd does NOT an SiR make.

What about hatchbacks? I have an 89 with sunroof is that an si? the vin says ed7.
