EF Rear Bumper
I recently bought an hks axle back hi-power exhaust from a protege 5, used for a year, and let me tell ya, it's as if it were made for the JDM EF. Problem is, it'll fit perfectly on the passenger side of the bumper, but theres no hole. And how ricer are you when you hack up your own bumper! I've seen a few bumpers out there with the exhaust holes on the pass. side. What year/trim-model did it come on?
thanks

^^^I believe he wants to know the "EF" bumpers that have the exhaust cut-out on the right(passenger) side of the rear bumper if im not mistaken.
I haven't seen any EF bumpers with the cut-out on the right(passenger) side. Besides the ol' DIY's which your trying to avoid.

your best and cheapest way would have a muffler shop cut it off just past the rear lower control arm them have them angle it so the exhaust piping kicks out to the driver side on the bumper. it will look sweet at that sort of angle and for some reason i have been told it adds just a slight bit of more power due the the air flow direction,

i was thinking of having a bodyshop cut the muffler hole and the exact spot but on the opposite side, both same measurements. exchange spots. they do their magic, and it should come out right. hopefully.

Just have it come out the back of the right side side / ps. Nothing wrong with that.
That's how the BC spec1/2 is. I think it looks ugly when you have that HKS type of exhaust go from one side to the other behind the rear suspension. I had it like that on my old hatch and I hated after I had it on for a few days.

Those so-called Hi-noise...uh, I mean, power exhausts are a joke.
Noise does not equal power. There are plenty of exhausts out there that are properly fitting.
There's simply no excuse for hacking up a bumper for something like this.
I even cringe at hacking up a car for an intercooler. It all comes down to installer skill.
