Jason, remember when I had 16's? They were 205/40/16, I am dropped like 1.8, and there was no problems.

195/50R15 on some 15X6.5 wheels with 38 offset
No rubbing but a lot on inside wear

225's will either rub stuff inside the fender, or stick out alot depending on offset, and will rub top of the fenders depending on how big the rims are. Heh I tried to stick some spare 15" rims I had on mine that had 225/50/15's on them and they rubed everything and the fenders sat on top of them.

Camber wear can be GREATLY reduced if you get a good alignment that sets your toe to within a hunderedth of 0.
Camber in itself is not such a big issue (in fact front negative camber is desired for hard cornering like in autocross), but it concentrates the bad effects of toe in or out on a smaller area.

i had the same problem when i had azenis 205/50/15....i had to raise it up a bit. now i have 195/50/15's lowered 2.5 and no rubbing but a nice camber wear.

yeah im thinkin if i go 195-50-15 and from what it sounds like i wont have that much of a prob with that size. on the tires i have now i cant even drive right now cuz everyone that see's the inside of the tire say's they will pop soon

The weird thing is that when i raised my car a bit, it tended to rub a bit more. Kinda odd, i guess my wheel fit inside the fender nicely when it was a tad lower.

195/50/15 on 15x6.6 +40 offset slipstreams. When my car was slammed my tires rubbed againt my fenders. Had to raise it up about half an inch to stop the rubbing.

Re: (hatchinprogress)
I had 195/50-15s on 15x6.5" +40s, but they rubbed so I switched to 195/45-15s on 15x7" +40 wheels. I drive it with about a 4" overall drop with no rubbing issues.

Re: (japrex)
205/50/15 on 15x7" wheels with +40 offset. Lowered probably 2.5-3" all the way around.
I had to roll the rears. They were rubbing bad even with the 600lb springs I run back there.
