how much would it cost me to make my ef awd
im runing a k24 supercharge on my 91 EF si
but looking to go faster with the same swap
just wondering how much it will cost me to make it awd

Find a shop that can custom fabricate components and ask them.

This seriously is one of those instances where the saying "if you have to ask then you can't afford it" comes to mind.

Neither your thread topic nor your question reflect your desire to find a local shop to do this for you so tehnically I did stick to the topic, read my first statement. If you don't get any suggestions on this thread for your local area you may want to try posting in the regional forums, you might have a little more luck there.

it would be cheaper to take a gallon of gas, burn that bitch to the ground and buy something, anything that's AWD and modify it, than it would be to try and make your ef AWD.
you would have to find a donor AWD that you wanted to use, Fab. everything to get it to fit in your chassis. Since you have no Idea what needs to be done; a shop is the only way to get it done and most shops would turn you away. I send guys down the road all the time at my shop that have stupid hair-brained ideas. I don't need their business.

also there are some companies that are doing k24's into elements, not to sure if the awd is being kept, but if so buy a element, strip all the drive train from it, pay a shop to custom fab everything, spend 60-80k into your POS and hate yourself for spending all that cash on a Honda when you could have started something better

Just used a custome adaption plate.
With the money you're gonna spend, do it all right, use quality parts and quality fabrication

This is just ignorance. 24TEN was more than right, he nailed it on the head. This is a job that is going to be incredibly hard to pull off. The EF Wagon trans would have to be rebuilt and customized to say the least. Then mating the two would take quite the machinery skill because those adapter plates take a long time and skill to make. The K-swap is also going to be one of the harder swaps to fit, but it has come a long way. As far as fab skill alone, it will cost quite a bit. It's obvious the OP doesn't have the skill to do this, or he would do it and not ask about the cost. If he has to take it somewhere and get it done, how can someone on the internet tell you how much it is going to cost. It will come down to man hours on the fabrication, deal on the swap, and time frame. If he wants it done fast, I'm sure it will cost a fortune. If he gives the shop weeks to do it, they may price it differently.

Anyways, from where I left off, if you are new then go to the meets forum or group forum. Find people who are in your area that have used shops. Ride down to the shops, take a look, talk to the guys that work there, get a feel for it.

I do my own fab work. Want to know who I'd suggest? Me. Pick me. It'll be $22,000 for the install. I'll have it to you in under a year.

but just so you know, you will be slower with the same engine set-up and awd. faster off the line but a lot slower overall...you know, parasitic drivetrain loss and all

Dumbass, what you don't get is that everyone else commenting knows it can be done, and has been done several times! But it's not like there's a hasport kit available. Every time it's been a custom fabrication, a lot of fabrication! Which takes skill and experience.

None of which is demonstrated by the original dumbass asking the question.

Was thinking about going awd in my ef hatch once im done building my d16. im starting to shy away from the idea because finding parts in my area is proving to be very difficult. It is alot of work but if you map out and write down all the steps and everything you will most likly need before you start it will make it a much easier build

I've never looked into seeing if the wagovan 4WD rear trailing arms are a direct swap with regular rear trailing arms (I really doubt they are given that 88-00 Civic/CRX are generally the same) but if they are not then this thread will give you an idea of what to expect will have to be done:
