Ecu Code Help
I keep getting a damn CEL and I want to find out what the problem is because I am not paying $80.00/hr for some d-bag to mess up my car. I have a 90 Crx DX with the stock motor. I want to know how to check what code is being thrown. I was told something about putting a paper clip between two wires in the dongle? Where the f is that? Just want to know how I can check this tonight. I think it is an O2 sensor but not sure. Thanks.

Re: Ecu Code Help (90CRXLS)
pull back the carpet on the passenger side and look at the ECU which is in the footwell - you should see a red flashing LED - count the number of flashes - that will be the code

Your car is self-diagnostic..
Pull the carpet down on the passenger side
and turn the ignition on..The diagnostic code
will be flashed in the round window..
Check your pm for more details...

Thanks man. I will check tonight, but what if the CEL isn't on, will the ecu still flash the code?

If it resets when you cut the car off,
Then most likely it is the O2..
If the light comes on,the code should be stored...
