dpfi obd0 to mpfi obd1

dpfi obd0 to mpfi obd1
Ok i have a 90dx. Its dp right now. I have a z6 bottem end/head/ex and intake mani's, injectors, injector plugs, dizzy and p28 ecu. If i buy the dpfi obd0 to mpfi obd1 harness from boomslang is that all i'll need or do i still need to do the mpfi swap?

you probably have to send them your stock harness to do that right?
besides just a couple wires to connect at the ecu, that should be all you need.

K cool thanks man. Boomslangs harness you dont need to send them anything, its just a plug and play harness from what i gather.

hmm i guess they could tell you for sure then. i always thought that engine harnesses were year & model specific....and that you'd have to send the stock harness in for the mpfi conversion to take place.
i am very intimidated by wiring personally.
i was faced with this same predicament and decided to do it all at once like you're doing. dpfi-->obd1 because of the high cost of having someone else do the work, i chose to do the mpfi wiring first (minus the resistor box since obd1 doesn't use it), and then use an obd1 adapter.
it took a whole day to complete, AFTER i had already done all the research and written the directions out by hand. the only confusing part were the 2 white wires at the distributor, but a continuity test, & ECU & dizzy pinouts cleared those up.
anyway it worked like a charm

The easiest way to do it would be. To first convert the car from dual port to multi port. You will use the stock dual port engine harness to do this. (You can search and find several HOW TO's on this subject) Then you will buy a obd0 to obd1 conversion harness. This will allow you to plug the p28 into the stock wiring harness. You will have to change the plugs on the engine harness to accomodate the obd1 distributor or you can buy one of those jumpers from rywire. This is so easy to do yourself. You shouldnt have send the harness anywhere. If you have any specific questions pm me. I have done this at least 50 times.

i need some help with wires also i have a 90 hatch and the person i got it from did a home made obd0 to obd1. it worked fine, but now i'm planning on put a zc in it and don't know where to start with swapping out the whole wire out to an obd0 or just keep the obd1 and work from there

with dp to mp conversion you need to get a 90 to 93 integra or 88 to 91 civic or crx injector resistor box...the conversion is not posible without i...ask and see if the place you are sending it to offers it and if not get one
