Default Do JDM and Canadian EF Hatchback seats bolt directly into USDM '89 Hatch?

Do JDM and Canadian EF Hatchback seats bolt directly into USDM '89 Hatch?

I did an extensive search and found a lot of information about the interchangeability of USDM EF series seats but did not find much about the fitment of non-USDM seats in USDM hatchbacks. Based upon the information below I would assume that the non-USDM seats would bolt into a vehicle with pillar mounted seat belts, but did not find any confirmation of this

For those interested, I dug up the following about EF series seats.

All non-USDM CRX/Civic models have pillar-mounted belts. This includes Canadian cars.

For USDM:
'88 CRX DX/Si have pillar-mounted belts; '89-91 CRX DX/Si have door-mounted belts.
'88-89 CRX HF has pillar-mounted belts; '90-91 CRX HF has door-mounted belts.
'88-89 Civic hatches have pillar-mounted belts; '90-91 Civic hatches have door-mounted belts.
'88-89 Civic sedans/wagons have pillar-mounted belts; '90-91 Civic sedans/wagons have passive belts.

Seats on cars with pillar-mounted belts do not bolt into cars with door-mounted belts and vice versa. You cannot just swap rails either.

Hatchback and CRX seats are not interchangeable.

'90-'91 hatchback seats can be swapped with '88-'89 seats and vice versa by swapping out the seat pan. When swapping seat pans this way, the driver side pan is re-assembled onto the passenger side seat top. This will put the recline lever on the inside side of the seat instead of the outer side.

Sedan seats can be swapped with hatchback seats by swapping the pan. I had to swap the passenger side seat top to the driver side and vice versa but I do not know what year the seats were from.

The seat pan swap between models with pillar mounted belts and those with door mounted belts reportedly does not work for CRX's.

Other unresolved questions:
Do seats from '88-'89 sedans/wagons with pillar-mounted belts bolt directly to '90-'91 sedan/wagons with passive belts?
Are Hatchback and CRX seats interchangeable with a pan swap?
Do non-USDM seats (JDM and Canadian) bolt directly into corresponding USDM models with pillar mounted belts?

Can anyone confirm this? I saw a picture of some Canadian seats on e-bay and the inside rail looked like it was closer to the center of the seat than the stock seats on my '89 Hatchback. Was this just an optical illusion or do you have to swap rails or something?
