DC suspension into the EF chassis??? can it be done?
Hey, I have an EF8 CRX SiR and I want to upgrade my shocks before going on the track.
I've found a nice set of DC2 integra GAB adjustable shocks for a great price. Now, they look pretty much identical to the EF shocks, and I am sure they will bolt right up to the EF chassis. I have been told the fronts are exactly the same and to just use my lowered EF springs with them and they will be fine.
But, I want to know for sure, if anyone has done this etc etc, I also have some EG front forks that I aquired for nothing a while ago, perhaps the DC GAB shocks are "fatter" than EF shocks so will need the EG drop fork...also, are they longer? and will this affect ride height, or will the springs just sit it at the same height again? what about shock travel etc.
Cheers for any help at all, I have a week to sort something out before hitting the circuit! :D

for american CRX's with 88 control arms ( same as jdm rear arms ) you need to shave a tad off the sides of the ball jointed bushings to fit in the rear lca. for the front you need to use EG forks. but thats for us based crx's, im not too sure for european crx's. they should work with a lil modification.

cheers MugenEF7, yeah, my CRX is a Japanese one, with the eyelet type rear LCA mounting style, so yeah, like you said, just need to shave some material off the bottom 'eye' of the shock to slip it in.
cheers! thanks very much
