Dashboard alternatives?

Dashboard alternatives?
Hi guys, this is my first post on Honda Tech. I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I'm hoping I can get some help with a CRX I'm trying to build. I've been wanting to do this for 15 years but due to health reasons, I have been unable to til now.
I've bought an EF CRX with an empty engine bay and a b16a1 half cut. I wanted to know if there are any alternative Honda dashes that will fit in the CRX? I was thinking maybe the 1989-92 Integra or a Del Sol or EG Civic. Would anyone have any idea about this?
Also, I hear about a lot of people taking out air con with doing a B series transplant into a CRX. Why is that? My CRX did have a b16a in it before I bought it and the air con was taken out. What do I need to have air con and a b16 in a CRX?
Thanks guys I appreciate any help

Re: Dashboard alternatives?
As for AC, you just need an adapter to bolt it up to the B-Series block. People remove it to save weight, save HP, and cleaner bay. I have AC on 2 of my B-Series and not on the third.

Thanks a lot for your replies guys.
Just a quick Q - Does anyone know if the S2000 is a direct fit?
And is the adapter custom made or OEM? My father owns a wrecking yard so we can usually find from factory. But if its custom made, do you have a link to see what I'm looking at?
Thanks brother!

Here are some pics of my ride. I'm hoping to paint it a midnight blue with white pearl. It definitely used to have AC and the dash has an A/C button there.
The car is in immac condition. Not a dent, scratch or rust on it. I picked it up for $650 + 300 towing which in AU is a bargain. That's around $500US and $235US all up

The only thing I have ever seen that was notable was an RSX dash swap with a K20. It was a while back, and there wasn't too much detail on how they installed it.

They put one into a civic here and it just took a lot of testing the wires and connecting all the right ones But they got it to work.
Not sure how they mounted i however. But it looked good
Wiring is not hard, find some diagrams and go by color coding and you should be good.
There might even be some diy's out there already

if bad comes to worse, you can always throw a sheet metal dashboard into the car and cover it with some fabric. here's what i did with my old crx
