Default d16z6 head on d16y8....

my friend has a 2000 si, with the ex motor in it (d16y8) (salvage)

he wants to know if bolting on the d16z6 head would give him any power....i say no, what you guys think?

Nope, he'd prolly lose some horses. Y8 has a superior head design, better flowing.

won't work anyways....z6 is OBD1 and y8 is OBD2....
