Default d16z6 in ef. running rough no codes

ok so we just got done putting a full d16z6 swap into a 1991 civic ef hatch dx. so heres a video of it running.

obiously it runs like crap. so i was wondering if anyone could help us out a little. we did the dpfi to mpfi and the obd0 to 0bd1 conversions. running on a oem p28 ecu. also used a rywire obdo to obd1 harness but we double and tripple checked our wiring and its all correct. no check engine light when running(like this anyways) turning the distributor back and fourth only helps it start doesnt fix the way it runs. also calibrated tps to .45v and 4.5 WOT.
ok so i checked the timing 5 times and made sure it was right. so were were thinking the valves might be out of adjustment. anyone have suggestions or know exactly whats wrong with it.

Does the CEL work?

Spark plug wires in correct order on cap?

Mechanical timing dead on? Post pictures.

All plugs have spark?

All injectors spray fuel?

cel code works. when we first fired it upm it threw a code for o2 sensor. fixed it didnt change anyhting and cell went away.

check firing order 3 times.

yes. spark at all 4 cylinders.

yes. all injectors are spraying.

Looks like the crank pulley may not be set to TDC1. The pointer should align with the single TDC1 white mark rather than marks in the group of three.

One of the two marks to the right of the group of three marks is the TDC1 mark. Not sure which one.

Is there even a tooth's difference between the two marks? At this setting, compression test your cylinders.

And why the aftermarket cam piulley? The stock TDC1 alignment for the D16z6 looks like this:

Your cam may be off by a tooth or two.

Putting a d16z6 in an ef is like putting a k20 in a type r.

Ok so we put the stock gear on and switched which of the two lines on the crank. It startedafter holdig the throttle all the way open. But its weird. It wont let my rev it up it seems as if it was cuttig fuel so it wouldn't rev up past idle. So i thought tps. But i sparyed starter fluid into the tb until we finally got it to run. It idled fine and it revved up with the tps unplugged. When we went to turn it off it wouldnt start back up.? Any ideas. Clogged fuel injectors? Bad tps?

Maybe still one tooth off. It should run with the TPS plugged in.

ok so we got the timing right finaly. however the stock cam gear wobbles a little and tries to push off the belt. but after spraying more starter fluid in it to get it to run and rev up. i unplugged the tps and i blead the coolant. it doesnt have a vss in it right now but we drove it around my neighborhood a couple times really slowly. when we got back into the garage (had to slowly release the clutch to turn it off, hopefully its just some wiring but its something with the ignition not turning the car off.) i turned if off and started it and reved it up and repeated it like 5 times. it seams as if driving it helped clean some crap out? this was all done with the tps unplugged.

Ever resolve this? Seems like the P28 doesn't run the D16z6 well in a EF chassis. As mine does almost the same thing. I put in a P06 and it runs great!

A p28 is the computer for the z6.
It could flawlessly run the z6 outside of the car on the ground if it were all wired correctly.
Chassis has nothing to do with it.
