Default d16a6 ARP headstuds torque?

How many foot lbs. should I torque my ARP head studs to? In the paper that came with the studs is says to torque them down to 60 ft. lbs. no matter what the man. spec. says. I was just wondering if people are using Hondas torque spec or ARPs torque spec?

Thanks

when installing the head studs torque them to arp's spec then when you install the head onto the block you will torque the nuts to oem honda spec.

Say what? The head bolts hold the head to the block. Why would you torque the bolts with the head off, then torque them again after you put the head on?

Am I missing something?

The ARP head studs are not like the stock head bolts. The ARPs are like bolts without the heads and threaded on both sides. Search for a pic. of them I don't know how to explain them.

what thread side goes into the block? the one that has a place that looks like an allan wrench could go in or the other side? Do you torque the stud and then use an allan wrench to take the nut off? and then put the head on and torque the nut.
