Default AC Wire harness

I just recently took out my AC for my 91 Civic Si. I left the hose just in case I change my mind later down the road and put the AC back on. My question is, can I cut the AC harness and tuck it back into the firewall without worrying about having any ground shortage? Then whenever I plan on putting the AC back on, I can just pull it back out and solder it back on. Has anyone tried? Don't give me a go give a try. If you've done it, let me know if it'll be fine. THANKS!

I wouldn't cut the harness. Disconnect the power plug from the fuse box in the engine compartment along with the other plugs and try to snake it out from the interior. Your gonna have to slice the rubber grommet/plug on the firewall so that the connectors can go through. IMO, would be the easiest and cleanest way.

You will short out something and make more work for yourself. Just pull it inside the car and roll it up with a tie wrap. Down the road, it's right there ready to go. The harness is not that big.

you left the hoses there just in case you want to revert, yet consider cutting the HARNESS?!
that's just bad logic. and keep your AC and the heater, i am in the process of reverting my track only car back to daily duties and it is a PAIN.

OP, if you pull out the A/C harness through the firewall, you will see that it goes to a clip on the engine harness. Just simply unplug it and it's out clean!

i also would not cut the wiring and would all that I could to remove it cleanly as possible. I recently pur ac back into a crx and it was something of a pain, especially since the harness was mangled some.
