I'm sure you know this already. But you may want to let it break in a bit before you go tearing off down the road.

Theres no need to for a "break in" period for a cam install. All the components should be properly lubed upon start-up. When i have installed cams, i would let it idle a bit.. listen for any sign of valve tap.. then mash the gas pedal.
One thing i noticed upon reviewing your cam install, is the valve adjusting process. The engine should be "Cold" (100F) when adjusting valves. Other than that, its all good. Now get on the gas.
And just like Jared said.. you will have to set your idle higher. Itll be fine for cooler situations, but once the engine is warm.. it will want to stall. Summer time is the worst. Just raise your idle up a little.

The guy he bought the gear from didnt send him a part... so he is trying to get the part and then he can put the Skunk gear on.

nope, go beat up on it. there is no break in for a camshaft install. btw, if the lobes are big enough, you may need to set your idle up to get a firmer idle.
