CRX race car won't start after new fuel pump
Maybe someone can help.
This is an old 1st gen CRX. It has a fuel injected motor. Fuel Cell container.
It had a Mallory Red pump, running down through what I think was the old original fuel pump. The car did run with a rigged up pump.
I replaced the broken mallory with a new mallory red and installed new lines.
I removed the old pump, which was not plugged in. It seemed like the fuel was just passing through. Now I have -6 line running right to the fuel line rather than through the old pump. The vent line goes back to the tank. Just like when I got the car.
Now it will not start. If I spray starting fluid in a vaccume line it starts right up for a minute then dies like no fuel. There is definitely fuel pumping through to the rail.
Was that old pump, i think it was a pump as it had electrical connections down in front on the LR wheel, doing something or is this some other issue?
