Without me looking at my car or doing any research, I am pretty sure that the red wire goes to your starter and to your battery. I think the black is a ground. Now I could be wrong...Im just going off of memory. I am sure someone can chim in and let you know 100 percent.

If the black one does run to the alternator can i run the battery wire were the red wire is, and then run a wire from the black wires position to the starter? Would that work? Thanks

im not totaly sure if that black wire is to the alt or not, get a test light to make sure first.
if ya relocated your battery, why not run 2 wires from the battery . one to were the red wire is at and the other to the starter.

The "black" wire runs to the alternator. It's actually a white wire though, it just has black heat shrink on the terminal that hides the color.

I would think no. Why dont you just run your battery wire straight to the starter then just branch a wire off of that wire to the fuse panel..thats what i did.

Thats what I did as well, run 4 gauge from the battery to the starter then you can use a 8gauge to the fuse box from the starter. the starter is what draws the most juice go direct to the battery
