Umm, not all CRXes have the same size tank, so comparing miles per tank is irrelevent. EFs also seem to have many fuel gauge problems; my gauge does not read properly, along with many others' on this board.
The standard for comparison is miles per gallon. Using mpg negates any differences in fuel tank size and gauge problems.
That said, my '91 CRX Si with bone stock engine averages 37mpg combined city/highway.

Damn, most of these seem low. I got ~34mpg, so 340 miles per tank with my B16. I get around 300 miles per tank with my B18C5, so ~30mpg. That's combined city/highway, it gets around 34 on the highway, 28 in the city. Just wondering how these 1.6s are using so much fuel.
On a related note, my 1.5 in my Civic sedan gets like 28 mpg, but it's an auto and I beat the hell out of it around town. I have the same dope mods that CRX Toad has, with the addition of the Tweety Bird Floormats.

Same here, but I'm auto. When I do some more mods and swap to hf manual, I think I'll hit 50.

1.6 d16z6
dx tranny
aem intake for 99-00 si

walbro 255
fp set at 45psi
2.25" custom exhaust no cat.
360-420miles per tank usually filling at 9.5-10.5 gallons.

88 crx
stock d16a6 engine
L3? 5 speed tranny (unsure if that is a stock tranny or not)
only mod is drop in green panel filter (kinda like a k&n)
i get from 28 mpg up to 38 mpg
i dont think i have yet to use a full tank without being hard on the throttle
with heavy aftermarket tires and no tune up yet
engine has about 180,000 miles

Is it possible to get a larger tank? If so, how much larger?

Re: crx 1.6L - how many miles do you guys get out of a tank of gas (Mr. Famadico)
stock si and i'm getting like ~15 mpg . i'm learing to drive manual and i have stalled a couple and the times i have driven the car it has only been for like 10 mins at a time. i think with driving the car 45 miles and having 16 starts doesn't help either. now that i'm getting better i expect the mpg to go way up.

I thought all 2g CRXs had the same sized tank (11.9 gallons) except for the HF w/ 10.4 gallons?

I see no room for a larger tank.

just add a feeder 10gal fuel cell
I get HORRIBLE gas milage usually. 25mpg around town (but its NOVA theres alot of highway in there)... I did drive from DC to Kershaw SC on one tank though... on fumes. Normally on long highway only trips i get about 38mpg though.
+6 degrees on the cam (stock), CAI, 2.5 cat back...

That's right. DX and Si have the same tank, but the HF has a smaller one, so comparing "miles per tank" across trim levels isn't really useful.
