is it hard to find ZC Metal headgasket....and also running forged pistons with a metal headgasket should handle 10-15LBS with the 9.5:1 CR right....

I am running this headgasket on my zc works i have run 25 psi on it and its still good.

http://www.nopionline.com/nopi...tegra

I am dont sure if these rods will work i figure they will tho

http://www.nopionline.com/nopi...tegra

For the most part the DOHC ZC is alot like the d16a1 that came in the 88-89 integras.
here is a link to a form that has a lot of good info on parts that will fit the DOHC ZC.
http://www.thezcr.com/forums/s...12262

Any way good luck. I think youll like the turbo zc they are really fun.

And also are those Con Rods supposed to shorten my stroke???(My CR issue)....inturn lower my compression... right or wrong???

Im looking For forged Pistons tho....but with forged pistons I should be able to run the stock Con Rods with no issues right?

forged pistons usually use full floating pins - the stock rods use pressed fit pins - you would need to machine the rods for floating pins - i would get good rods since the rods are the weak link in the D-series bottom end

find forged 88-89 teg pistons, or zc specific pistons.

and any d-deries rods will work

the BIG question....SOHC Turbo(Mini-ME)....or ZC Turbo....a friend of mine is tellin me the Mini-Me running 10-15Lbs. is "BETTER ON ALL COUNTS" for a "drop in motor"(no diff mounts....or custom linkage)....Than a Boosted ZC running 10-15lbs....If im not mistaken Hondas real problem is torque....and I do believe that most Dual Cam motors produce more torque than Sohc....(exceptions-nissan in-line 6 sohc's and stuff of that nature)....and im really tryin to get the most for my money....please tell me the "UPs" and "DOWNS" of the SOHC Turbo Mini-Me and the ZC(boosted)!!!!!!

Honestly im not pleased with single cam motors....Owning three d15's and 2 d16's(sohc)....Im just not "Thrilled" with their performance....and dumping money into a d16(sohc)....vtec or not....just doesnt seem the right way to go....please feel free to input from here....

i wouldnt use that motor,,you realize it doesnt bolt in to begin with right? you have to make a custom driver side mount and ghetto rig other things to make it fit...The d16a1 integra motor is not a dohc zc that bolts right in our cars...it does howeven bolt into the 84-87 cars if thats what you have....

also why are you so focused on boost level? focus on the WHP you want to get...How much do you want? also dont treat this build like you would a dsm its completly different,we have these little alumiun motors, very very weak rods in the d-series motors ,can only support about 200-220 whp reliably everyday driving..

Ditched the Integra Blacktop....$300 bucks on ebay....Yeah I was previously told that it was a B*tch to swap....I'm only throwin "2 stacks" at this swap....So keep on

BUILT-I.E. Forged Rods....Forged pistons....Balanced Block....Metal Headgasket....Cams....ECT

Which ones better???? SOHC Turbo Mini-me OR Turbo'd ZC

Running 10-15LBS....FYI!!!!!!!

Bump- For ---opinions on wether the SOHC Turbo Mini-me OR Turbo'd ZC---Which one can produce the most torque"BUILT"(Built defined below)....and wether both can handle 20Lbs. of boost

money is no issue....but this is limited to the Dseries engines....My personal mission is to squeeze the most power from a Dseries I can without issues....
