clearing up CEL codes, o2 wiring help
1991 hatch. b16 obd1 converted.
Zerg Industries ecu jumper
jdm pr3 obd1 ecu
im clearin up all my CEL codes.
and of course throwing one for o2, code 41.
i picked up a 4 wire bosch o2 sensor from a friend. practically brand new.
the 4 colors on the sensor are
2 white, 1 grey, and 1 black.
the white are across from each other.
and gray and black are across from each other.
i removed the original 02 plug, so now i just have the 4 wires coming from the o2 and with the spinning wire connectors still connected at the end of the wires
zerg ecu jumper colors for the o2 are
-blue (goes to the o2 sensor heater control o2 blk wire)
-white (goes to the o2 sensor signal o2 white wire)
-red (power, goes to o2 blk wire)
-black/ground (goes to o2 ground green wire on o2)
but the colors on my sensor are 2 white, 1 black, 1 grey.
help please

Re: clearing up CEL codes, o2 wiring help
so based on this.
the blue wire on my ecu jumper needs to go to a white wire on the o2
the wht wire on my ecu jumper needs to go to the white wire on the o2
red wire on ecu jumper goes to black on o2
and ground goes to gray on o2?
correctomundo?

Re: clearing up CEL codes, o2 wiring help
I have post this information TONS of times... You should really learn how to SEARCH!!!
The factory wiring is as follows:
White = O2 Signal (D14)
Green/White = O2 Ground (D22 or similar logic ground)
Orange/Black = O2 Heater (A6)
Yellow/Black = O2 Power (A25 or switched +12v source)
Aftermarket wiring is as follows:
White = O2 Signal (D14)
Green = O2 Ground (D22 or similar logic ground)
Black = O2 Heater (A6)
Black = O2 Power (A25 or switched +12v source)
Obviously it matters - if you get an O2 heater code switch the two black wires around - simple as that.

Re: clearing up CEL codes, o2 wiring help
ok got it.
2 white heater wires on my sensor are going to my blu and red wires on jumper.
1 black wire is going to white signal wire on ecu jumper.
grey is going to a ground.

Re: clearing up CEL codes, o2 wiring help
I'm having the exact same issue with an aftermarket wiring harness. Was there any result to this?

Re: clearing up CEL codes, o2 wiring help
ive been there and done that the best advice i can give you is to clear your codes, because even if you wire it up correctly the computer will remember when the sensor wasn't wired up correctly and give you a code.

Re: clearing up CEL codes, o2 wiring help
I would like to post that I have rewired everything and all is well.
I seems as if the company i purchased the harness from had two sets of instructions bearing the same name, for the same product...
IT wasn't ZERG it was a different company. Deluxe-Item.
If anyone comes across this product ( which actually is a well put together ECU jumper / I like it (: ) make sure that you use this link for the NEWER PRODUCTION harnesses.

Best wishes et happy swapping.
