CEL 17, Speed Sensor 90 Civic DX
Got a CEL #17 on a used 1990 Civic DX hatchback, manual tranny, I am considering buying. I know it could just be a loose wire. For now, where is the speed sensor on a 1990 Honda Civic DX?
Is it called something else in the various service manuals?
I have searched http://www.bkhondaparts.com and am having no luck for the manual transmission Hondas c. 1990.

Does the speedometer work?
If not,It is probably the speedometer cable.
For pics of cable and connections, see:

ps>In my case the speedometer did work and
I ended up having to replace the instrument cluster..

Oops, forgot to note this. No, the speedometer does not work. Thank you for the reference on this.
