Car trouble... need some help.
I started my car up today and drove away from my house. Then made a few turns and on a straight road the car started sputtering as if I was flooring the gas and then releasing the gas quickly, so I shifted into neutral and coasted to a light. It was fine idling at the light. Then I accelerated and it started sputtering again, and this time when I shifted into neutral and idled the engine, it shut off! So I coasted into a parking lot. I tried starting it and it took a few turns but it started. I did a few laps around the parking lot, it was fine. I then let the engine warm up until the temp. gauge was at the normal spot it usually is and I drove off. It did not sputter as much when the engine warmed up, but after it warmed it still sputtered and the engine died again! Also, I was on the highway doing 85 mph or so and no problems whatsoever. Before I drove home I let the engine warm up to normal temp. before leaving school, it sputtered less on the way, but it still sputtered, and again, no problems on the highway. Mostly happens while accelerating, but does happening while idling and cruising at 40. Any ideas on my problem?
Fuel Pump? Temperature Sensor? Humidity in my Distributer?

Start with the small things dont just run out and buy a new distributor that might not b the problem, check/replace fuel filter, spark plugs, plug wires,... also what it could be that i had a problem with before is that my injectors clogged up..it could be that ur dizzy cap cracked or rotor is worn so u could also replce that for cheap, but if ur car runs then with my expierince it is not ur coil or ignitor. when ur coil or ingnitor goes up usually ur car just wont even start.

I can't remember the last time the fuel filter was replaced.
Air filter was recent.
Tomorrow im going to take off the distributor cap and see whats up under there.
