blue/white smoke from exhaust

blue/white smoke from exhaust
i have a 91 civic HB and found oil leaked into the spark plug cylinders. i replaced the gaskets and oil hasnt leaked back into any of them. i replaced spark plugs and wires, and big clouds of white smoke is coming out when driving and mainly just shifting.
some say its coolant that leaked in due to HG failure
some say it may be oil burned
my radiator is leaking and coolant level dropped slightly after white smoke.
could it be the HG? how do i know if it is the HG for sure?
any feedback will be great

Re: blue/white smoke from exhaust
If you are loosing coolant and its not visibly leaking out then there is a good chance you have a blown hg. You can do a leak down and compression test to know for sure... Any oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil? Not always the case but a dead give away.

White smoke=burning coolant
Blue smoke=burning oil
Sounds like your headgasket may be on it's way out. +1 for a compression test
