Blowing Battery Fuse
Please help, have a Honda Civic. I keep blowing battery fuse (60 amp fuse under the hood. It seems that if I replace the fuse, the car will start and run fine, when I go out to start after it sits a day or two, nothing and the battery fuse is blown. I am wondering what current would be strong enough to blow the 60 am0 fuse. Thanks for any suggestions

Re: Blowing Battery Fuse (merch1)
check your wiring. you might have some stripped/exposed wire coming in contact with some metal or other wire. I had a similar problem with my parking lights fuse. The wire was somewhat exposed and rubbing against the frame blowing my fuse.

Re: Blowing Battery Fuse (MtnCRX)
Is it possibly to narrow down what wires to search for. I am thinking since it is blowing a 60 amp fuse, the current causing the problem may not be as simple as something that would blow a 10 or 15 amp fuse. Am I wrong to assume this, thanks for any help.
