Battery light is on, dash lights are dim...
I checked the output of the alternator and it's 9V. Thought it must be the alt so I replaced it (which was a PITA!) New alt, same problem.
Anyone got any ideas of what I should check next? The car starts fine and runs fine, just the battery light is on and the lights are dim like it isn't charging. Disconnect the battery while the car is running and it dies.
The car was fine Saturday, got in in Sunday night and this problem had popped up.

make sure your battery is o.k. (have it tested) - check fuses #14 & #31 in dash fuse box - check wiring between alternator and fuse box (white wire & black/yellow wire) - check wiring between alternator and ECU (white/yellow wire) - or possibly could be bad ECU

Re: (kaoss_11)
Well, I had the alternator and battery tested. The ALT was bad, the battery needed charging. Fresh charged battery and no more light. Keeping fingers crossed that it was just the alternator going bad and the battery being drained.
