Default bad gas?

wondering how long gas can sit before its bad, and how you can tell if its bad. my old project car hasnt started since i got it, put a new motor n everythign in it, but wont start, struggles to start but just stops. has gas but its been sitting in their for ..at least a year, maybe two years id say. any ideas?

just go fill a gas can and add more than drive all that other **** outta there

Edit: I don't know if old gas can actually prevent a car from starting

thast the thing, it wotn start so i cant drive it. ive checked everything so many times and im running out of ideas as to why it wont start.

try changing the fuel filter. I had a similar problem with one the crx's I bought. a 10 dollar filter did the trick

I just started a car that i havent started in 1 yr and has had the same gas for 2 yrs, fired right up gas didnt seem to make a difference

I have had a few cars come in that haven't been started for a year. They run, but the carbon monoxide way high and gross poluted

They will run but not pass emissions.

You might have some water in there too. refill with fresh gas .
