Note: This is a tech thread, but also scheduled list to keep myself on track for the swap this summer. Many of the parts listed above may not only be specifically matched to corresponding vehicle in order for the swap to work; but rather where I am planning to find each part.
This thread consists of me bitching a lot with questions in seeking for answers. This is because I want to do the swap right the first time; also HT has a wealth of knowledge.
If there's anything missing here please feel free to let me know.
I'm hoping that this thread will eventually become a build/swap guide thread.
Thanks everyone.

1) Yes, Cable tranny will bolt onto the B20, just use a cable clutch for the tranny.
2)OBD only really matters for the ECU purposes, doesn't matter what OBD the motor is.
3)If the ECU is from a 99 it would be OBD-2 which wouldn't work for you wanting to convert to OBD-1, you need to find a 92-95 P75 or PR4 ECU from an Integra, and no you don't need to get it re-chipped it will work fine.

you don't need to convert to obd1. you can use 90-91 obd0 integra stuff (ecu, dizzy, intake mani with injectors, etc... even the tranny) If you can find a obd0 DA integra for parts, you'll be golden.

you didn't mention it in you original post, but you do realise you need a different intake mani than that tall *** crv one that comes on a b20b??? That is why a lot of ppl just use integra stuff.

I would imagine your looking to do it cheap, here's what to do:
- get your b20 longblock
- go to pick your part and pick up an obd0 distributor, ecu, intake manifold, and tranny from any 5 speed 1990 or 91 Integra- they will be dirt cheap there and not hard to find
- buy a fresh clutch, timing belt, cap/rotor and some new plugs
- get a good quality mount kit
That'll get you 90% of the way for about $1500

Yo thank you so much bro. That actually helps out so much you have no idea.
Also, Calgary's PMSing like a bitch today eh. Yesterday was +17 and this morning I cleared a foot of snow off my car. NOT COOL

Re: (freakystyley_73)
you also need the timing side engine mount L bracket from a 1g b16 or a
90-93 LS motor.
get the rear T-bracket for the trans off of a 90-93 teg 5speed
if you have a DPFI car you need to convert to MPFI
if you have a DPFI car you also need a DA teg or EF SI/EX throttle cable
90-93 teg radiator hoses (trim to fit)
OBD2 alternator plug is diff than OBD0

This is all very very helpful.
Most of these parts i can hit up Pick ur Part for.
I'm stoked as hell.
Also, my car is mpfi,
What can i do about fitting the alternator plug,
obd0 to obd2 adapter?
Thanks all, hoping for more information/opinions.

What about axles? Am i better off buying brand new axles or can i find some used ones?
Addtionally, most tegs at the junkyard are 250xxxkms+, so I'd rather seek out a newer used tranny.

Re: (freakystyley_73)
IF YOUR CA IS already MPFI and your OBD0 then run a PR4 ECU. you dont need to use anything other than you stock harness to make it work. IM sure the OBD0 teg Dizzy will work. if the plugs dont match then use a 89 teg plug both male and female and match the colors.
Hope this helps.
PS
use a 90-93 teg IM with TB

Ok sick. This is all coming together now with all of your help.
I've researched that my hubs will fit b-series axles
So i just gotta pick up some b axles meant for 4g civics.
i'm stoked - i'll put up a build thread this summer.
I may have more questions later, so i'll keep this thread running.
thanks

buy 90-91 integra ls axles...
basically, the swap you are doing is exactly like swapping in a 90-91 integra b18... except you are substituting a b20b block and head. Everything else is 90-91 integra

Re: (ap1$2k)
i used CRX SI knuckles when i did my swap, Si 15/16" master cylinder, good pads and some S.S. brake lines stop my car pretty well.
teg knuckles will need a camber kit in order to maintain proper alignment but they are bigger so it depends on whether or not you wanna spend the money
