Icon2 B20 in CRX

Hi guys,

I am doing a B20 swap in a CRX and would like to know what radiator I need to use so it can fit in the engine bay and leave enough clearance for the AC system.

Thank you in advance

Use a EG half size radiator.

Pardon my ignorance,

Is that stock or aftermarket?

A stock 92-95 civic have what are called 1/2 radiator, well because it's half the size of the full radiator in the EF chassis.

You can get a stock replacement one or they also make Aluminum versions also. Hope this helps.

You can go to any auto parts and purchase a new stock replacement one for ~90 bucks, ebay also has aluminum one, 100 bucks shipped. Used one for my boosted b20 and boosted b16 projects, hasn't given me a problem as of yet.

The ebay one that I have is a dual core, as the stock 92-95 for the most part were only single core unless you get the one from a 94-97 Del Sol VTEC model which came standard with a b16a3.

Unless you are running after market headers, I'm you sure could use the stock EF radiator....can anybody confirm??? B16s and B18Cs work just fine in a CRX with the EF radiator

If you are going to get a 1/2 size radiator from an EG,might as well get the dual core Del Slo Vtec flavor

I used the stock full size rad AND fan in my H2B, and I can guarantee I had less room to work with in that compared to a B20 swap.
