Default Need help finding whats wrong with my CRX. 20$ to the one that finds it.

Hi there. I own a 91 CRX that had this vibration in the steering for the last 4-6 years. The vibration starts at about 75/80mph and gets worst as speed goes up. I dont really drive that fast, but when going to the track it's annoying.

Here is a list of what I have replaced on the car trying to find what was wrong:
Both axels, 2 times
Disc brakes
Wheels bearings
Wheel hub (used different spindles for that)
Upper and lower balljoints
Inner and outer tie-rods
Steering rack end bushing ( white sleeve )
Replaced my energy suspension lower control arm bushings
Rwplaced Differential
Replaced OEM wheels with NEW enkei and new tires.
What you should know:
My CRX got into a small crash at the track before having this problem.
I basically bent the car a bit. The right wheels looked like the Dolorean with its bending wheels upgrade in BTTF2. I replace both front cross members with used ones. I also replaced front right lower control arm and radius bar.
The car got straightned on a table and all is supposed to be within specs.

So, if anybody has an idea of what could be wrong/tell me what to check, I will send 20$ to the first that actually guide me to the solution.

Ok... you listed some but not enough... What is the car exactly? (trim, engine, trans, ect...)

Edit...
Oh and more importantly what tires/rims are you runnig when the vibrations happen?

Edit again...
Is the shaking side to side or up and down? In the steering wheel, dash, or seat?

if car was damaged that bad it was a bad decision to repair it as son as you bend the frame that bad as you say your wheels looked like its never gonna be the same unless you cut the bent part and rewelded a straigth one

You didn't answer the last questions...

Is the shaking side to side or up and down? In the steering wheel, dash, or seat?

Steering is where it feels. So it<s a side-to-side motion.

I just checked my steering rack, and I think there is a small play in it. I will replace the rack.

Hah - that is why I was asking... the manual rack can be set - you do know that right? Sounds like you need to tighten it up is all... (the pinion has an adjustment - look at underneath drivers side part of the rack you will see a large jamb nut and the smaller adjustment bolt.) There is a How-TO somewhere in Honda-Tech land on exactly how to adjust it... basically you tighten or loosen it to your liking - too tight will wear the rack and pinion faster - too loose and you will be swerving like a drunk.

Ya, i'm gonna play with it, but I remember setting it correctly a couple years ago on my other car (the rack comes from my old Civic)

Adjustment of steering gearbox doesnt seem to do anything. Will try to tight more and recheck though.

So it drives perfectly fine until you hit higher speeds? At 30 or 40mph it's fine?

From researching, if your steering feel loose when going at high speed or the faster you go the looser your steering gets it is due to the rack n pinion tension bolt.
the thing wears out over the years and will require readjusting.

you have to break the 40mm lock nut with the special tool honda makes and tighten up the 14mm tension bolt all the way in and then turn it loose about a 1/4 of a turn, then hold the 14mm bolt there with your 14mm wrench and tighten up the 40mm lock nut.

just a thaught here if the car was in a decent crash you could have twisted the body some and making the engin/ trans out of alignment and with that it does make the axles out of line aswell this could cause a vibration and same if the engine mounts and trans mounts would be bent or broken????
