B18C build up would like suggestions
ok here is the deal. as many of you know i picked up an obd1 B18C about a year ago, and i am goin to steadily start building it.
here is what i have...
JDM obd1 B18C short block...picked it up for $150.00
at first i just wanted it as a back up block for my crx witch currently has an LS/Vtec setup. my buddy gave me back my obd0 B16A head that i had given him so i figured i would start the next build for my crx. but first im in the process of getting it painted.
my question is this would ARP head bolts work better than OEM GS-R head bolts? the reason i ask this is because ARP bolts come out to be about the same price as OEM ones from the dealer, on my LS/V i used oem. ive never done a complete rebuild so this would be my first. any suggestions on how i could get this rolling. thanks in advance guys.

The arp head studs are much stronger than the oem honda headbolts. There's less of a chance of it breaking or stripping inside the head, or stretching.
I'd say stroke that sucker. If your gonna do it, do it big
