b18b w/ls axles and int. shaft--keeping dust seals on axles
In my 1991 honda civic dx hatchback I have swapped in a 95 b18b1 with a cable s1 jdm b16 tranny. The axles im using are 90' ls and the intermediate shaft is from a 91 ls.
There haven't been dust cap's on the inside of my hubs since the previous owner however on the ls axles I installed with no issues, the rubber dust rings were still present.
My question is if the hub dust seals are already removed, there is no binding(test was done with front tires off the ground), and the axle nuts went on the shafts with no issues, can I keep the rubber dust rings on the axle's themselves?
Also sitting on omni coilovers with a 2'' drop in the front-incase that info aids anything.
I suppose I will find out 100% for sure if there is binding once I get the rest of my parts to drive it but until then if anyone can help me out that would be great.

It shouldnt really make a difference if you leave them on or off. and if they were binding up at all they would probably come off anyways when you were to drive it.
I really wouldnt worry to much about it.

you should be fine, I had them on(rubber ring on axles) with my si spindles (minus the metal dust ring pulled off hub)
