Re: b16 fan switch wiring (Double Trouble)
here is how it should be:
on the inside fender panel, just behind the passenger side headlight, is the cooling fan relay - the relay has 4 wires coming out of it - black, black with yellow stripe, blue and yellow with green stripe - the black is a ground wire - the black/yellow is power and runs from the relay to the fan and also splits off in the harness and runs to fuse #15 in the under dash fuse box - the blue runs from the relay to the fan - the yellow/green runs to the temperature contolled fan switch which is on the back of the block on the OBD0 engines, right by the oil filter, and also splits off and runs to the fan control in the ECU - the fan switch on the back of the block also has a black wire to ground

I have been looking for something like this. I am still having a problem though...I know what relay you are talking about, but I am alittle confused on everything. Here is a picture of my relays.
You can see a plug on the end of the harness...what did that go too? I thought it went to the fan but it doesnt bolt up. I can pull all the wires loose and really take alook at everything but it just doesnt look right to me. Anyways here is a picture of my plug that comes from my fan. Its not wired to anything and the wire colors do not match anything...
Sooooooooooooo do I just rewire it all up like you said or what? I dont know I am about to give up...

Re: b16 fan switch wiring (harmonator84)
also there were two fans orginally...I am guessing one was for the AC and the other was just your normal fan...correct me if I am wrong...thats why I thought that wiring may have went to the fan for the AC.

I pretty sure the clear plug at the end( in the first pic) is for the ac condenser fan.
the plug you want is the same shape but green.
