you might be better off using a CRV transmission in this case. the 4WD system off the wagons are not that strong.

Actually I think you would be suprised. The wagon drivetrain has been proven to take quite a beating.

For the op, I believe Bisimoto is supposed to come out with a b2d plate. I would contact them.

yeah but a crv tranny would bold to a b-series engine without some expensive plate, if it cost anything like a h2b it would not be worth it at all

I agree but I tried to answer the op's question anyway. Let him decide if its worth it or not.

Hmm, doesn't seem to be listed on their website (not that i could see anyway). Looks like it'll probably be between 1500-2000$ basing it from what's already there for sale.

would you not then have to get a custom engine mount to account for the added length of the motor and trans with a half inch plate of aluminum in between the two? and what about the intermediate shaft?

I'm fairly sure that the other 'kits' that Bisi sells come with the 'custom' mounts. Check his site out.

This what he emailed back to me
"The price is $1200. It includes:Steel adapter plate, Flywheel, Half Shaft, Pillow Mount, & Alternator Bracket. I will seek more clarity as for mounts, since this kit is a fresh release.. Tell me what chassis you have and I will assist you. Email me back. The hood fully closes with this kit."
