91 hatch sunroof
I have a 91 civic hatch. I had a leak this morning from the sunroof. I think the back seal is worn out. I called honda and they said i would have to buy the whole glass. they dont sell the seal as separate. the glass cost $900. thats way too much. is there a easy and affordable way to fix this or anyone out there selling a sun roof? pls let me know.
thanks

try cleaning out your drain tubes....if the leak is pouring down your back like mine was it may be the rear tubes. they run along the roof and exit near the rear tailights..if you pop off the covers inside the hatch they will be right there. youll see the tube. mine had dirt clogging up proly 8 inches of the tube. used compressed air and blew the crap out

yeah usually those tubes are clogged up by mold and residue from the weather. I had the same thing happen in my 89 prelude si except the cold *** water drained from my sunroof, to my neck, and down my back when i started backing out or came to a quick stop. it sucks but its an easy fix.

i looked at the roof a little closer tonight. lt looks like the glass is slightly of level. the rear seal is not tightly touching the roof line. any advice on how to adjust the level?
