Writeup: How to do simple CRX dash plastic repairs
My son and I have a black dash for his 88 CRX HF resto-mod project. It is in pretty good shape, except it had a couple of broken mounting tabs. We searched but couldn't find much about dash repair except for some glue/epoxy recommendations. So we decided to do a little research about dash material, cutting techniques and tools and repair techniques.

I like the enginuity of your plastic fix, looks strong
