90-91 civic harness bar
ive seen this harness bar on ebay and i was looking at it and i thought to myself would this work on the 90 91 civic i can see how it would fit the 88 89 civic just of where the seatbelts are mounted but for our cars they are mounted on the door not the frame of the car. i know it would be better with a roll cage but i dont got the cash for a roll cage. has someone put one of these on there 90 91 ef just trying to find out if its possible.

Re: 90-91 civic harness bar
ok let me first start by saying, installing a harness bar and using harnesses rather than your seat belts is a dumb idea, you will get hurt in the end...but with that said and you still want the "bling" of a harness bar, the holes should already be in the frame of your C pillars. take your trim off, have a buddy weld some nuts to behind the holes...its easier than it sounds, and drill the matching holes on your plastic pillars. It will bolt right up as it would in the 88 civics.
But again, using a harness bar without a roll cage as a safety device is a bad idea, but its your butt behind the wheel, do as you wish, I know i wouldnt risk it
